Quote from McEscher :Did you log into the server with the administrator password? Try logging in with and without the administrator password and then compare.

Still the same thing.

Also, is your firewall enabled? Try disabling it.

How do you check if the ports are forwarded?

Hi there guy.

I im using a wireless connection, and i was running a server just perfect. until i wanted to upgrade my internet so the technician came and took my modem out (btw i had Motorola modem with Netgear router) and replace it with Motorola U verse router. after i had my internet up i tried to run my server but couldnt because it was giving me the error " TCP socket: could not connect to socket.
then i re-downloaded the dedi server again and tried it and it work but if i close and after 5 min open the dedi server back it would give me the previous error.
so i run the server but did not close it. and its running but now the problem is when people connect to my server after few sec they get lost connection error. see the pic.

Quote from sinanju :If you look in the /default/includes/ folder, you'll see a file called addonused.lpr.

In that (open with notepad or similar), you'll see a line
#include( "./driftmeter.lpr");

Just remove the # symbol (lapper ignores everything on line after a hash), save and reboot lapper

Do a few laps, then type !drf to see drift score in a table.

If you don't see any score, then you will need to amend your LFSLapper.lpr file.

In your LFSLapper.lpr file, search for $DefaultTopCar.

You probably have something like $DefaultTopCar = "XFG"; which is probably not the car you're drifting with.

Instead, make it either $DefaultTopCar = "XRT"; (if this is car you drift with, or change car name to the one you drift with), or, to make sure you record scores for every car, then change to

$DefaultTopCar = "UFR+XFR+RB4+RAC+FZR+XRR+FXR+FBM+LX4+LX6+XFG+XRG+XRT+FZ5+FXO+FO8+FOX+MRT+UF1+BF1";

I dont have that line.

Quote from Chriship :To forward your ports, you have to usually login into your router, by navigating to your Local ip,

Example: http://192.168.1.1

Mine is: http://192.168.1.254

You can check yours by typing cmd.exe , and then ipconfig.

After you navigate to there, it will ask you for a user and a password, most routers are ( admin , password ) ( admin , admin ) (password, password)

Then, go to port forwarding, add your ip, and port 63392.

well when i go to CMD and then ipconfig it gives me ip address i stated above

in fact here is a picture

Quote from ADr3nAl1n :probably because you didn't port forward . Skype me when I'm online i will help you if the problem persists

Its either your router blocking the ports or a bad setup configuration in server files

I tried to port forward but i have no glue how to do it. i will appreciate your help so much is you could help me with this.:huepfenic
