ive just modified my backplate
drilled a few holes and presto it fits
love drilling holes in new pc cases



Edit if you can get the same motherboard it should be fine..
if not then yep windows should be reinstalled too get no conflicts etc
you can try it without though ..but dont think thats gonna work

Motherboards arent very expensive if you just want a normal one..50 euros..going for the big bad mofo of them can cost 300 euros ..

wires are easy...read manual and look where the wires of the reset button hdd light etc go where on the motherboard

be carefull with static electricity !! just grab yer central heating with every component your putting on/in the pc or buy one of them special wristbands

mine did that..replaced the motherboard and all was fine again..not saying that its that but could be it

untill 2 days later the church next too my house got struck by lightening and pow...goodbye motherboard and cpu and gcard psu

personaly i would build the pc myself..
a beefy dual core and some 8800GT and 2 gb of ram would be a start

you need all the components or you gonna scrap the old pc and swap over harddisk etc etc monitor keys yadda yadda

congrats ... that budget should get you over a 100 fps easy...
do some research...and build it yourself...

the ones posting behind me will tell you what hardware too go for
