It can't be posted here. The author posted it in the unofficial add ons forum, but Scawen has told him that it's not an approved add on, because "it could be used as cheat".

Sorry man, can't help you on this forums.

I think the main problem here is: the patch got anounced and after 2/3 years it still isn't released. If they didn't anounce the patch before they certainly knew it was ready for release we wouldn't have so much moaners now.

Actually, Thrustmaster themself said it must compete with the Logitechs and Fanatecs.

This thing has hit stores here in the Netherlands a few days ago and I've had my hands on it for a bit. Unfortunatly it was not a powered one.

The first thing I noticed when grabbing the wheel was that it's very thin and my thumbs barely fit in the places where you should keep them. And that while I'm only 16 year old and my hands are not that big! Also the wheel feels very heavy, even when mounted. Call me anything you like, but I prefer my G27 over this thing, even though the T500 should have better FFB. The G27 feels much more comfortable. Also, the shift pedals feel very cheap imo, like there is no spring in it. The G27 has a nice and sturdy feel on them, but with the T500 it felt like I was pressing a can against a button.

Just my 2 cents!

$500 dollar is prbably Japanese price, because a G25 costs $450 over there.

Pretty sucky that it's more expensive then a G27 while it has no shifter. I could do with the wheel only, just for the bigger wheel and 1080 degrees steering
Or i'm just gonna mod the G27 to 1080 degrees.

Is the wheel always plugged in or do you remove it when you're not racing?

Quote from MrEko :I still can't understand why Scawen doesn't keep a log about what their doing. I think that would keep us calm, if we knew what was going on

Because it costs a lot of time and he prefers to spend that on the physiscs.

Quote :I think there will be a test patch Friday!

You see a test patch forum? No indeed. We know when it is comming close if the Test Patch Forum get's back, Victor(?) said that.

Friday is also most logical, because it's the last day of a work week, and then people can test LFS all weekend

Quote from nesrulz :Scawen, any news about multicore CPU in LFS?

Ehm, from this I understand that you care more about multicore CPU then you do about the physics?

Quote :I’d recommend visiting our forum once a week or so and check if the test-patch section has returned. It will be around that time the patch will be near.

From this quote of Victor i can make up that the new physics are getting close.
You should check other sites then LFS forums once in a while

That the wheel stops before hitting 900 degrees is normal. I think they did that so you can't break through the 900 degrees. If they didn't do it it would make a lot of noise when you smash it into that 900 degrees :P

Quote from Speed Soro :I think many here cant understand my point: I am not saying that they are obligated to give us s3. What Im saying is that anyone here that complain, has the right to complain, because it is a client right. It is business, not joke.
I understand what you are saying, but there is a difference between complaining about something you already have and complainging about something you want! Most people here are complaining that they want the new physics now, or them wanting new tracks and stuff like that. You haven't paid for this kind of stuff, so in my opinion you have no right to complain about it. Yes, you could make a suggestion to the Devs, but you don't have the right to complain about not having it. Actually, the only complaining you have rights for are the bugs in game.

If Scavier will not give S3, so say "we will not give S3". If they "plan" to give S3, and people wait for 3 years, I think this people has the right to come here and protest.
Nope they haven't. If they say they're planning to make us S3 they can take as long as they want on it. There is no release date mentioned and no promises have been made. And the longer it takes, the better it is

If there was a Duke Nuken Forever forum, people would be there also complaining. And if Scavier keeps this forum alive, they cant complain against complainers that come here.

It is about the right of complain that Im talking, not about obligations of the Scavier team, however I could say a lot about it too.

Maybe you can complain about the Scirocco, but i still think it's rediculous to do this. You should be thankfull for what those 3 men have been and are doing at the moment for us. Those 3 men have been able to keep up with the competition pretty well and other sims still have more people behind it then LFS does.

Thanks for those posts Scawen! Good luck with developing and take as much time as you need to make the physics as realistic as possible! I guess not everyone will agree with that :hidesbehi, but i prefer something that takes a few months extra and is done well, then something which is rushed.

Does not replace seccond hand controllers? Why the heck did they give me 50% reduction on all of their products on my 4 year old, seccond hand DFP then? :

I have to agree with dadge, you could have emailed them being more politely and giving the more information. Took me 2 emails to them to handle things.
