I would easily continue paying for additional content after S3 is released or if they continue with S4, S5 and so on.
Content built with laser scanning is probably quite expensive so if they are going to continue with it they probably need to bring in some more money wich I and i surely a lot more people think is worth paying for.

It was a while ago i read that so i might be wrong. My main point is that as soon Eric finishes something they can´t just go "hurray" and put it right in the game. Therefore it might seem as if Eric works really slow when in fact they just need new content to be fully integrated and functional with the rest of the game. I probably shouldnt be speculating about this since i know nothing about programming or modelling bot it just seems like normal workflow. The developers needs to be on the same page of the progress.

I don´t think Eric is particularly slow. It´s just that Scawen and Eric needs to work in the same pace. Eric might have modelled twenty new cars and tracks but scawen just cant keep up with physics modelling and balancing and everything else that comes with new content.
I read somewere that the implementing of new interiors will affect the physics wich might be why they just cant put them in there.
Just a thought.

lol love Eddie Izzard =)

I´d like to have a short narrow track for the Mrt5 with a lot of sharp turns.

What do you mean "idiots"?
If one is not as enlightened about racing simulation and all that comes to it as you they automatically become an idiot? That´s harsh man...

There are no people that shouldn´t be playing LFS! Everyone is welcome. If they have an expectation of arcade driving they will find that you cant do this in LFS and maybe quit playing it or adapt to LFS:s rules and physics and start racing properly.

If someone start playing lfs with an idea that racing should be like NFS then i´m pretty shure the great fun of racing in LFS can change their mind after a while. But not if everyone tells them to go to hell.

Quote from tristancliffe :In the 'old days' the only people that played LFS were the people who wanted a proper simulation, and as such it generally attracted a certain type of client. Now it's much more popular, being amonst other simulations, and word of mouth is spreading it further. So now anyone who 'likes cars' wants to join in, with the obvious problems.

No it wasn´t. A friend recommended it to me and i tried it out. I had never played a racing simulator before in my life. At first i really sucked and had no idea how to chose a good racingline or breakpoints but i got addicted and by watching good racers and recieving better setups from people i got pretty good after a while. So it´s thanks to guys that don´t have the screw you n00b attitude that i found this game great and play it to this day.

Also i played with keyboard in the beginning because i didn´t have a wheel but after a couple of months i bought a wheel. However if i wouldn´t have been able to race with the keyboard i never would have stuck with the game so i think your attitude against people that race without wheel sucks.

It´s good that a bigger crowd find LFS. The ones that´s used to Need For Speed or games like that will either like LFS or not. If they don´t, theyll quit playing and then what´s the problem? If they like it we´ll have a new fellow racer. LFS can attract people that aren´t already interested in racing simulation to this genre.

I can just say that LFS was the thing that got me interested in racing. Not just simulation but watching and following some racing sports.(saw the F1 GP in Australia this year)

I once got stopped by the police and almost lost my license because i took a corner in a intersection as fast as possible.
I was on my way home from my girlfriend in the middle of the night and there wasn´t a car as long as i could see. I closed up to the intersection outside the area where i live and decided to make the left turn as fast and tight as possible. By the way i was driving my familys Toyota Previa witch takes 8 persons. I barely slowed down and steered the car inside to the left of all the refuge islands cutting the corner in true racing spirit.

I felt really good coming out off the corner but to my surprise and horror i saw in the back mirror a policecar closing in really fast. It followed me really close a while and then stopped me. They did an alcotest, checked my background and asked me what the hell i was doing. I just said i was really sorry for driving like an idiot -i felt that explaining to them that i was pretending to be in a race and there for cutting the corner wouldn´t have been to smart- and apologised. The cops were pretty young and let me go with a warning. I guess they saw the fear and regret in my eyes.

After this ive been sort of careful about doing stupid things like this and has been driving like a saint. It´s lucky ive got this game to live out my speedgreed with.
