S2 licensed
Hey all!
Bought s2 a few days ago, then found a dfp for only 30 bucks Canadian... I'm pretty hooked now.
Had a bit of a shakey start in terms of enjoying the community, but it finally seems as though good people do exist in the lfs world.

Thanks for the suggestion guys... Nobody was on the dead men server tonight, but their forums seem like a good place to be.
Although I logged onto the RIP server tonight and had a wonderful time. My faith in the lfs community is restored.

(I find that bassists make any place nicer to be

Newbie Friendly Servers?
Bassism
S2 licensed
Hey all,
Just bought s2 a few days ago, and to be honest, I haven't been thrilled with the community.
In my first s2 race, I was banned for not getting out of the way of the blue flag quickly enough. I've been screamed at for being a n00b when I drive to slowly, and told to go practice offline if I announce that I'm new and may make a mistake.
Now, I'm not a horrible driver. I'm usually about 10 seconds behind WR if I'm comfortable with the combo, I don't spin out all the time, I don't cause all kinds of accidents, and I do my best to clear the track when I get a blue flag.
To be honest, I've driven at least as much on the demo servers as on s2 servers since I got my license. The drivers on demo servers are a lot more friendly, and thus it's a much better experience.

I was hoping that the community would be a bit more helpful and friendly, maybe helping out those who are slower get up to speed rather than frantically banning them if they brake too early for a corner.
I didn't spend 50 bucks so I could hotlap by myself for the next 6 months...

So my question is, are there servers that are friendly and helpful to those starting out?
