Awesome car! You really gotta rev it to bits and push as hard as you can to get the most performance out of it and still barely break the speed limits it's awesome! Just the kind of car I love driving/racing!
Somewhat like that yes But probably more on stricter rules for a entry level cup series. Small city cars that you wouldn’t really associate with racing, like the Citroën C1 I mentioned. There’s a awesome build series on YouTube by Bad Obsession Motorsport on building/converting a Citroën C1 for racing in the City Car Cup. I love racing the Citroën C1 mod in Assetto Corsa, I think that mod would do really well in LFS
My ideas or ‘wish list’ for cars;
- Small LMP style of car, like a Radical SR3 or Spec racer Ford type of car.
- A oval short track open wheel asphalt modified car or other types of oval short track cars.
- A ‘city car’ type of car modified for racing, namely a (1st gen) Renault Twingo and a Citroën C1 Seen a Twingo mod online a while back, but it was quite poorly modeled.
- A Legends race car, a track / road course version and a oval variant perhaps.
I’ll edit my setup Thanks for the tip! I really suck at setup stuff, I usually just adapt my driving style to suit the setup instead of the other way around The mirror thing isn’t really a distraction, it doesn’t bother me or anything, just noticed it and thought I’d report it.
I've been (re-)watching the Citroën C1 race car build for the British City Car Cup by Bad Obsession Motorsport on Youtube recently, and would love to see a version of that car in LFS.
I'm a big fan of racing small (city) cars that weren't really mend to be used in that way
The update feels great Definitely more planted and improved stability, also during braking, although it still tries to kill you if you don’t brake in a straight line haha but that’s typical fwd car behavior.
Even though it tries to kill you sometimes when not braking in a straight line, it’s still quite predictable and allows you to use it to turn the car into the corner, almost a bit like “backing in” to a corner like you’d see on a supermoto I’ve knocked off about a second off of my lap time around Westhill int.
**edit**
I did notice this little 'glitch'(?) in the side mirrors, it looks like something pokes through the mirror surface...
To be honest, I can't understand why you even started on this mod... If it were that easy to just put the vws in the game, the devs would have done it a decade ago. Now you're acting all surprised and upset that you've "wasted" your time and try to justify it by naming all kinds of totally different cases..
Sorry, but are your really that ignorant? You could and should have seen this coming waaaaaay in the beginning before you invested even a second into this mod.
Awesome Had to slightly update my skin to fit the new template, but it looks so good now!
The driving characteristics are as you’d expect a fwd hot hatch to be Its handling is beginner friendly but takes some more to get the most performance out of it, which I like. So there’s always that bit more performance to gain and push yourself to do better.
Now I’m hoping for a ‘cup’ version, externally it looks the part already, but on the interior it could use a racing seat and digital racing dash (like some of the GT’s have) and of course a roll cage But I’d still be happy even if the ‘trackday’ version is as ‘racing’ as it’ll get
