Thanks a lot for the new stored password system. Works great. Never though it's going to be that quick

I only found one issue with it:

Quote from Scawen :Also if you use the /pass command on a command line (in conjunction with /join) that should overwrite any password that you have used before, and store the new one.

It works ok from the command line, but I can't figure out how to invoke it from url link - I tried the follwong but neither works:
lfs://join=hostname&pass=abc
lfs://join=hostname,pass=abc
lfs://join=hostname|pass=abc

Another issue with Z26, that will be a problem for people currently using Firefox and Join2LFS.
After I installed Z26 using full installer and checked lfs:// links association, they were still opened by Join2LFS instead (Firefox 3.5.5). Firefox did not ask which application to use. I've found two solutions: Uninstall Join2LFS or manually change "Open with" application in Firefox options.

Suggestion: LFS installer should force Firefox to ask which application to use (from the list of registered lfs:// handlers) upon next click on some lfs:// link.

Thanks for the update.

However, I think that password support for lfs://... links is a must.
If it is not going to be present in next official path, than I hope it will still be possible to use Join2LFS-style links instead, yes?

Quote from CSF :Lap 5 (4 racing) 7:05 on the replay. Car 06 just hits us in the middle of the final turn ruining our race. Complete idiot. Have a nice penalty.

I'm very sorry for ruining your race guys

I can only say how it looked from the driver's point of view: I was catching you, I was having a good line exiting last turn, as usual, and I was hoping to get a nice slipstream after exit and try to overtake you on the straight. However you exited the corner much slower than I anticipated, but when I realized that and did brake, it was too late, as I've already touched you.

Sorry again, I know it really sucks when you loose so much time without any fault from your side

Quote from J@tko :Well not really, the Win S2 Cup is actually a structured League with specific races, this is an "arrive, drive and win" league

Yes, this is exactly what it is. All you have to do is to enter one of our ZION servers (currently ZION Race Demo) and you get awarded with points for each race you finish. If you happen to accumulate more points than anyone else at the deadline date - you win S2 License

Hello Racers,

To celebrate year 2009, ZION Team has launched off a competition available for all Demo players, who are racing on ZION servers. The competition is called License Pursuit and the main prize is S2 License voucher, which means instant upgrade of Demo account to S2 for the winner

To win the competition you have to score the most points in ZION Championship in period since 01.01.2009 till 30.06.2009. You earn Championship points by participating in races on ZION servers.

The amount of points you are rewarded with for each race depends on your finishing position, you best lap time, the number and speed of other racers participating in the race, the number of laps and you overall race time. Additionally, points for races taking place between 17:00 GMT and 23:00 GMT are DOUBLED. This is so called Prime Time and during this period only racers with good enough PB (Personal Best lap time) are allowed to join the server. The required PB is currently set at 104% of WR (for active combo).

The rules and Competition standing updated live after each race is available here:You can find all up-to-date information and news on our forum. You can also ask questions and leave comments there:Good Luck!

This is absolutely brilliant. The best flash applet ever created

I would welcome an applet parameter that would specify the server to which the applet should connect to on start-up, instead of displaying list of hosts. This way I could fully integrate it into my LFS webpage.
Possible?

Yes, you can disable kick/ban voting all-together in server configuration file (or /vote no command).

But what I want is to allow voting for kick and disable for ban. And it is not directly possible.
I would either need command to cancel kick/ban voting (not available) or working /unban command, so I could change a ban vote to a kick vote (not available in demo).

On ZION, I'm just sending the VTC InSim packet.
It works both on demo and s2, and only for votes for restart, qualify and end race (not for kick/ban votes).
Also, you have to send this packet during the 3-second period, after voting is completed, but before race/qualify is actually restarted (that is during the time, the rcm messages with count-down is displayed).

BTW, it would be nice to be able to cancel kick/ban votes too, anyone had any success?
