oneGP - Possible wrong forum.
Hey

Well to begin with, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Well all know about the oneGP Formula 1 team thats supposed to replicate real F1 teams.. which to yet.. I have not seen.

Someone mentioned about actually making a Formula 1 league with the BF1s using REAL teams, (McLaren, Renault, Ferrari etc) and got flamed down and told oneGP was already doing that.

I'm about to buy S2 very soon and I plan to do this. I will be making a Formula 1 league replicating real teams. (Flame me - see what you get back, seriously its childish.)

Each team will consist of two drivers (EG. Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkonen) with one backup driver and mechanical engineer (setups etc) along with a livery specialist.

Don't think I'm just going to slowly leave the scene and never buy a license cos' it won't be like that.. It is coming.

If you wish to start one of these teams e.g McLaren - and you see nobody has posted it yet, then state that team and which driver you wish to be/staff position.. If it has been posted and someone has the position you wanted for that team - theres always other teams

When we get up and running we will be hiring people (with no pay) to manage the servers during races etc.

I will also be looking for someone to co-found this overall League so all applications welcome with simple details

; Name
; Age
; Past Experiences
; Why you think you can do it/want it.

More info to come soon.

(Should possibly be in Leagues and Events )

It's a really good idea, and is perfect in theory, however tbh it will never work in reality. From experiences of league administrating and helping with a BF1 League (oneGP to be precise ), there will never be enough people to fill all the teams with all the posts, and people will be away so there will be lots of chopping and changing of teams.

Maybe, doing it with a more used car might work. e.g use the FBM and replicate the teams and drivers of the British Formula BMW championship would work better, but you'll still have the problem of chopping and changing of teams as some people can't make it and some people can.
Since I'm so immature and such a big meanie according to you, I shant offer help nor offer my services.

Instead I'll say goodluck and run away before I'm insulted.

Well to be honest your just looking for trouble. There was no need for you to post in here at all if thats what you though. Look forward to seeing it removed, AGAIN.

To everyone else; We'll see how it goes.. it would be quite nice though.
I agree it would be pretty nice but once again I doupt enough people will show up unfortunetly. Let's just wait and see .

There was. My comments before weren't removed iirc, the thread was lockedz0rz.

I wished you good luck, what's so mean about that.
I think the major problems is, and this is my feeling, people won't want to race under other people's names. If I win a championship, I don't want it to say "K.Raikkonen" won. I want it to say "M.Leahy" won. It's also tough to get a large enough grid for the reasons that Jatko and Silver said.

But maybe it'll work. You might even get some people from oneGP. Actualy, it might be a good idea to have your series start when the oneGP season ends (which is in 2 weeks) so that the scheduals of BF1 drivers don't conflict.

Join oneGP! =)
Grats on getting S2.
