I've had this wheel for ages, and unfourtunately haven't been able to use it.

Nothing I do makes windows detect the wheel.
Logitech software. Nothing.
Windows Driver manger. Nothing.

Im at the point when I just want to throw it against a wall. Any advice?

have you got the wheel plugged into a usb 2.0 port?

Anyways, I checked the net and people who have problems with this wheel in XP or vista 32 bit then the wheel is most likely defect.

However if you use windows vista 64 bit then the wheel will just not work at all!!

I have this wheel and use it on XP and it's really good price/performance.
If you're on vista that's why... that explains everything.

If not, using a normal USB port (Although what computer now comes with a non 2.0 USB port, the 1.0 ones are normally found on Keyboards with USB thingies on them (G15 iirc to name but one). It should function as normal although possibly be a bit slow to respond.
