Yes and no. You should be able to feel the force feedback all the time when you're driving, except when you have the ESC menu up.

If you can't feel the wheel, make sure you have the FF enabled. Then, increase the 'Force strength' until it suits you (see pic in my previous poast).

If you haven't installed the Logitech Profiler yet, you may want to do that too. I use the following settings in it:

You can create a profile for LFS and then select 'Specific Game Settings' somewhere from the menus, or, you can just use the 'Global Device Settings' instead, if you don't need to change the wheel's settings for other games.

I don't actually have LFS (or a wheel) installed atm so it's all from what I remember from ages ago. Try clicking the function name (throttle) first and then click the axis number (3) you want to assign to it.
