The codec is XviD or DivX and I think he used Adobe Premiere.

Nice video but how do you make the camera move WITH the car. I can't get the camera to be attached to the car. It rather floats and messes up my shots.

Care to elaborate on that? .

well, in shift+u you can choose follow car (hit space for the option) also, go to options-> veiws and near the middle bottom their will be a bunch of stuff you can play with to change veiw.

You can setup the custom view to be outside the car, acting like a fixed camera.

Options->view i think
