Do you have this problem: when you watch a MPR,you don't know where the overtake crash occur. and you need to press Tab key to switch to the next driver....

My idea is this: This software can let us watch the MPR just like a Race TV LIVE .. the camera can change to the highlights we wanna see. Just as if we are watching a real Race TV Live...

Do you have any ideas about this?

There's two apps that have done this, I think. One I can't remember the name of, and Race Director http://www.lfsforum.net/showth ... 47&highlight=director

It'd be great, but the MPR is not a replay as such.
All it contains is a record of all the inputs from each player in the race - that's why you can't rewind or anything. It knows that at 2:16:335 player 17 pressed the accelerator 2% harder and it applies the relevant forces to the program as if someone actually had done it.

It'll be a lot of work to get replays that can highlight stuff like this, but we're all hoping for it. That said, if multiple events happen at once the software might end up picking the wrong one to focus on

Well logically it's not hard to imagine working. If there's several things happening at once, they can be ranked using a set of criteria (such as race position, number of cars involved etc.) and then most interesting choice is selected. InSim race tracking allows monitoring of cars' track positions and such stuff which can be used as a basis for the criteria.

Actually you still can't rewind. All that happens is that the replay will fast-forward from the beginning Look at it this way, if you have a 2h replay and want to "rewind" 10 mins, guess what happens

1000 posts after a 1000 days, eh? You could always delete a couple of old posts to drop your post count, then take the screeny again (and if you do it quick, the posts per day would still be 1.00).
