Closing connections - what does it mean?
I'm sorry if this has come up already.

Sometimes when I exit from the online server selecting menu to the main menu in LFS, I see a text "Closing connections (x)" in the up left corner of the screen, x meaning the number of these "connections". This happens mostly when I browse the servers but don't actually join to any server.

What does it mean?
*bump!(!!11)

No one knows?

That it's closing connections and trying to exit "gracefully"? It takes a while for a connection to time out I suppose if a server/servers isn't responding.

Quote from Clownpaint :I'd also like to know what connections are being closed.

The connections you make to each server on the list to get the ping etc details.
I thought that LFS connects to the "main server" and gets the server data from there? So it has only one connection, or...Hmm...

EDIT: or maybe it's like vari said, getting your ping times would be odd if you got them from LFS "main server" if such thing exists

Yeap, "netstat" in the command prompt while refreshing will verify this.
