Hairpin training layout
For those of us who drive autoX in real life, it can be useful to practice tight hairpin turns. We often have them in our courses here in Norway. We change direction around the hairpin cone (marked with three cones together), and go back to the start/finish line.

The hairpin is typically behind a 5 meter wide gate, so using the handbrake can be the quickest way to get around it.

I have attached a small layout I use for practice purposes. Doing hairpin turns is not easy, so you can fine tune your driving with this short (typically 10-13 seconds with default setups) course. You need to turn very tightly around the cones to be quick, and there should be enough room to slide even the biggest cars around without hitting any cones.

It is self explanatory. Drive through the gate, around the triple cones, and back.

I also attached a photo of myself going around a tight hairpin corner with my real life car.

How can I find them? I like the Peachtree layout I found here, but I wouldn't mind testing some other courses as well....

I happened to make that one, thank you. This is another one I made that can accomodate the bigger cars as well:
