Hybrids have plenty grip on tramac - probably as much as road supers. They are very soft... the question is weather they would overheat with all the tarmac.
If there was an option for cut slicks the FXR could probably be used for rallycross with limited suspension modification (assuming structural rigidity isn't simulated anyday soon) and it'd be much closer to real rallycross cars than any of the current cars.
The mineshaft is a straight on Kyalami where you pick up a lot of speed and go into a tight corner at the bottom - it could also be the name of some other part of some other track I guess...
Don, still, there is no harm in having an out-of-the-ordinary rallycross track. It could create some interesting races and hotlapping on it will certainly be quite intense.
must admit i dont do much rally x so probably not best to comment on this but the one thing that did hit me when i started to play lfs was that the tarmac sections on the rallyx tracks dont include any real corners.
i always remember lydden hill in the 70's when i was in early teens and the cars struggling to get grip on the tarmac using knobly tyres, especially when wet and the mud had carried.
even oulton parks rather scratch built rally cross circuit had a reassonable balance with both tarmac and dirt bends.
if anyone does any remapping lets try to get some tarmac bends in aswell as dirt bends
