It'll work on Vista fine, although the 8400GS isn't exactly immense, it'll run fine.

(reminds me, i must try LFS on my Intel GMA'd laptop to see how it goes...)
thankies for the info matey
Laptops are really for Internet Explorer and other small programs etc. Computers can handle large applications better, E.g FPS will be higher on a computer than a lappie.

Laptops are probably best suited for Firefox (GRRRR, Don't use IE!) on the move, and doing office work, however if push came to shove they aren't exactly sluggish (my laptop actually has a faster CPU and memory than my old AMD system with a 40% overclock!)
Jakg what happens when you overclock it to much?

FTR i just SuperPi'ed my laptop (2 GHz C2D, 2 GB DDR667 RAM) and it does SuperPi 1m 1 seconds quicker than my old AMD 3700@3 GHz, which i was really amazed by.
