Well its another year and another Bathy, anyone else going to be watching and are you Ford or Holden

I'm born an bred Holden, but I own two Fords at the moment

Car make used to be a big thing for me, not so much anymore

Bathurst is the only race I have too see each year but even then I normally only get to see an hour or two here an there definately want to go to bathurst one year though

is it on this weekend?
I personally dont really care what car make wins, i just like watching the racing But if i had to choose it would probably be ford. Im not real happy with the holden we got

Ford all the way baby, But what ever the result who ever wins which ever manafacture wins it will be a damn good effort.

Go Holden, but wouldn't be nice to have toyota v8's. BMW v8 keep the v8 supercars but some varity would be nice it's getting hard to tell the difference between holdens and Fords now days..LOL

I put Holden, but it's really Forden. Don't mind which constructor wins as long as it's interesting.

Holden and Ford has nothing to do with racing at Bathurst. Both marques of the V8 "Supercars" are almost identical and are a far cry from the showroom models that people drive on the road. The Holden vs Ford hype is an irrelevant sideshow to attempt create extra interest where none exists. Holden vs Ford is just a pissing contest between gullible fans. Don't be sucked in by it all.

Vauxhall in other things generally, so therefore by default it's Holden :P

I'm a Ford man but have to admit that Gunn is right in that the manufacturers in V8 Supercars have about as much relevance as they do in NASCAR.

I also have to admit that I think the Holden looks nicer

Holden, Ford, meh. When we were kids (80s) touring car racing wasn't two shapes of the same fat-arse boat-tower, it was Mazda/BMW/Holden/Ford/Nissan (for one year anyway) + plenty of other stuff. We had a Leyland P76, several Minis and a tractor back then so we never got into the whole bogan civil war thing anyway I don't much care which brand of V8 Super-cab wins the big one, but I never miss Bathurst if I can help it and I think a new face on the top step would be good to see this year.

Limiting the race to commodores and falcons really sucked, but its still a great race. I spose reactions like in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_ATwXUtxPA is why they changed it

I still don't understand this antithesis, but Bathurst is the only V8 race I follow every year. Too bad I have no chance to watch it live, so I have to be careful not to be spoiled
