Single-Seater Teams?
Hi Chaps, Chapesses,

Had LFS a few years now, and after catching up to the 21st Century and getting a G25 & broadband connection, started to get back into the swing of things.

To be honest though, the public servers are not really floating it for me. I'm looking to join a team whom concentrate on single seaters, if there is such a thing. Willing to participate in a time trial, or open race or similar, with a team who race regularly, can all speak a good degree of English without 'lol' after every sentence, and operate on GMT. I enjoy fast, close racing on a regular basis, especially with the FO8.

Please feel free to PM me, or point me in the direction of an established team.

Thanks!

ZWR? They seem like a great bunch of guys, but as with all decent teams you'll have to talk to them alot first t see if they actually like you

Hello! I would recommend you FPR. We are mainly an open-wheeler team. Bit i think it could be a big hurdle that our website is in german even though we have one international member and we are all capable to speak english.
So there are some good single seater teams out there. For example R4R they drive the open wheel cars a lot and are a bunch of very nice and quick guys. http://www.r4r.org.uk/

There is also spdo which is definately one of the fastest teams around, but i dont know, i have heard something that it is invite only, but you may want to have a look. http://www.spdoracing.com/

And many more teams...
that were the first 2 very established teams that came to my mind
Also R4R seem to specialise in single seaters but again they will need to get to know you.

Damn Beaten to the Punch
Hi,

We at R4R do like our single seaters very much, but not exclusively. We have a presence in both divisions of regular OWRL, a team in OWRL F1 and at least 3 of us compete in GFC. Swing by the website and say Hi. There isn't a set application procedure at this time but the more we see you online the better.

Cheers

DBP race single seaters regularly, we currently run a single seater series. However, like many, we are not exclusive to single seaters, there are basically enough cars in LFS to have fun and variety at the same time.

We have one basic requirement, and that is that you need to be 18 or above. Basically an adult. Otherwise, please visit and register.. and join us on our servers for a while.

DBP Team Server 1
DBP Team Server 2
DBP Team Server 3

You have more of a chance of being accepted if you spend time on track with us first

Also, be open to using Voice Comms Technology like Teamspeak.

Good Luck.
Fragmaster? 18 or over, i asked.

Thanks for the help chaps. Either way, I'm in my twenties, so no need to worry about age limits
Well, I'm currently in the development stage of creating a new team . I myself and also friends of mine are very serious with single seaters.

My plan for the team is that it doesn't strictly focus on LFS only but the team will expand into many other sims (rFactor, F1 Challenge, Grand Prix 4, Grand Prix Legends, etc. ) as well as being involved with rally sims such as Richard Burns Rally and Rally Trophy.

If you're interested, just let me know . You can contact me through PMs or either send me an email to: [email protected] or just add me to your MSN list and I'll be more than glad to offer any additional insight that you'd like to know about the team I'll be forming.

Just so that you know, the main concern for me with applicants is personality (being a nice guy basically ), driving ability is 2nd but I don't really stress on the ability of drivers because we were all new to LFS once.

Thanks for the plug Jak

Jak is spot on thou, we are more than just a team looking for racers, afterall as we spend so much time together online it would make sense that the team mates are all friends

For a ZWR point of view, we don't know you and your mileage is a little low.

I would suggest getting signed up for a league and then get your talents spotted from there, league racing is also a good way of getting to know lots of different teams and drivers rather than maybe just the one or two favourite servers that you go one.

Good luck with the hunt,

Dru.
