a fast driver should be fast no matter what if he has time to adjust.

not evey body has the defalt or bob's sets. I tossed my Race_S becuase it was so bad to drive.

You're right, and as ajp71 stated, that's part of the challenge. But these setups are based off of the Race 1 setups, which I thought were decent. The only modifications I made were attempts to make the tires last longer, make them easier to drive, and gear them so they'll work ok for anything from slow corners to ovals. They're softer than most people go for, so be extra smooth! It may take some getting used to if you've been running stiff setups, but I'm sure you'll do fine.

It's a great idea, but one that should be supported with server side restricted setups, much easier to admin that way.....

Ill put it this way. I race a spec miata here in US, and spec classes are awesome. I would so jump at the oppertunity to run a spec class on LFS.

Yes I think it's a great idea as well. I've said it before, but might as well say it again I suppose... Now that the forced cockpit view has been taken on board by Scawen, it seems logical to follow it up with forced setups. It could just be another letter on the server list (i.e., next to the VSQ etc) to indicate that it is a "spec setup" server. Admins for the given server simply would have the ability in game to upload the setup to the server, and then the server would distribute it to those that join. LFS would just black out the setups list, and the options that could not be changed in the setup screen. Clean and simple!
