Scared of stalkers?
Scared of Kevin.
Sometimes id just rather people not join the server im in.
But there's still the chance someone you didn't like/wanted to avoid/owed gambling debts to would join a server and find you anyway.

Unless, of course, you mean people in general and not specific people, which means you'd be alone in a server. If that's the case, maybe you should race offline when you're in the mood to be left alone. That, or start your own private server and not share the password with anyone.

I'm pretty sure that's a feature useful only to yourself and the guy that lives in your bathroom mirror.

Slopi: Come back

The guy who turns up in my bathroom mirror is called John Mirra, geddit?
Where is Slopi
Poor Nakki. I'm a lot closer than you think
Hiding your personal stats in LFS world removes yourself from people's buddy lists (I think, certainly you can't add someone to your list if they've hidden their stats), but doesn't stop people searching, and finding, your username in LFS. Maybe it should. You could still find someone if you really wanted to, but at least it wouldn't be simple.
Wouldn't they still appear in the online racers list?

Ah yeah, I suppose they would. I guess that would be easily stopped too, though.
