Name the manouvre!
Hi all

How about filling a thread with a collection of moves named after real life drivers.

I'll start with some easy ones.
  • To pull a Coulthard (going for a way too ambitious pass and climbing the car in front. like dc did in melbourne '07)
  • To pull a Schumacher (swerving in front of the car starting beside you)
  • To pull an Alonso (overambitious move on the outside of turn one, ending in a small botanic excursion before almost causing a pile-up)
  • To pull a Heidfeld (losing it on the grass, crossing the next corner and collecting an innocent car.) (just had that at blackwood sorry guys)
Keep 'm comin'
To pull a Rosberg-Trulli: attempt to pass the car ahead in the corner and end up spinning (in-sync...or is it N'Sync? ) both cars without any physical contact.

To pull a de Cesaris: Crash, extra points for writing off the car.
  • To pull a Ralf Schumacher (claim to be the best driver in the world, then promtly crash into every single car on the grid)
  • To pull a Hamilton (make world champions look like rookies)
  • To pull a Matt Neal (push your opponent off the track just to get past)
To pull a Rossi (follow for two thirds of a race, then pull away like it's nothing and check out, hasn't happened in a while though )

forbin i duno if you were joking or not m8 but i wouldnt have posted that if the guy was not ok or was at any risk, i follow f1 like man possesed but acording to the official f1 site he drove him self home from the hostpital and is hoping to race at INDI!!!!!!! gota give it to the guys who crash test these things unbelivable strength
To pull a Montoya: try to cause as big T1 havoc as possible.

To pull a Speed: get the First D.N.F. Prize on every race of the season

To pull a Raikkonen: talk so loudly in a press conference that everyone in the room needs earplugs.

.
Truli Train - This technique involves starting high up in in the first 2 or 3 rows only to have after 5 laps a freight train of cars behind you (ie the entire field stuck behind your slow as hell driving, killing LOTS of Webber's races!!! ARGGHHH!!!!...sorry bout that bit...slipped out haha)
A Herbert: To be unable to forget a physics bug and never be the same again.
A Moss: To be one of the best drivers of all time, but to always be the 2nd best in every race entered.
A De Angelis: To finish one place outside of the points in every race.

An Aston Martin: To win everything but to break down the moment somebody says the words "24 hou.... to late, it broke."
to pull a Kubica: hit another car just slightly, loose your car and go at almost topspeed into a wall. Destroy the car completely and walk away as if nothing happend

I've heard they have offers from big "Dorifto" teams

To do a Plato - a terrible wrecking style pass to improve your position then deem that your the cleanest racer in history or that the T-Bone was infact completely the other drivers fault and he only caused the accident by trying to take the racing line or defend his position

To do an Albers - simply forget to brake or turn for a corner..

To do a Murry Walker - to be leading comfortably and a team mate in ventrillo says you've got this for sure, and promptly spin off or hit something.

To do a Mansell - Turn up - demand the best setup - do a couple of laps of a server uncompetatively then leave citing reason that your car is somewhat differnet to the other cars being used by the other drivers...
#15 - Dru
To do a Verstappen - let the leader pass safely then promptly ram him off the road
#16 - Dru
To do an Alesi, get so focused on the race and climbing the leaderboard that you get into the lead and run out of gas because you forgot to stop
#17 - Dru
To do a Hakkenien, Throw it away whilst leading comfortably... then go to where you think no one can see you and have a good cry
#18 - Dru
To do a Barrichello, lead comfortably for most of the race then let your team mate past on the last 100 yards
#19 - Dru
To do a Senna... Be leading comfortably then try to slow down to make sure you don't crash only to then loose your rythmn and timing and promptly crash and retire...
#20 - Dru
To do a Button.... moan that your car and setup is simply not competative and that it's got nothing to do with your driver skill and then get trashed by your team mate with exactly the same equipment

To do a Pironi and ignore your team orders and power on for the win..
To do a Dru and make 8 posts in a row!

To pull a Webber - Finnish 6th in the lowest car on debut.
To pull a Montoya - Become a highly championship contender in F1 and blow it all due to lazyness and "tennis".
To pull a Schumy - Take out your opponent in threat of title, walk away with a smile.
#25 - mr_x
To do a Button - be very hyped up and over-rated and deemed to be the next best British Driver, and turn that into 1 win in 6 (?) years and blame it on the car.
