RaceLaps question
Ok, rather then setting up a race with over a hundred laps, I figured I'd just ask here real quick.

I am assuming that the RaceLaps (rl) data type is only used in IS_STA & IS_RST since those are actually a byte. The other places where laps are reported, NodeLap, CompCar adn IS_LAP are stored in a word and in the case of IS_LAP there is even total time, so I figure those must be actual lap counts. Is that correct or does anything resembling a lap use the rl data type?

thanks
No, the single byte version is only used to report the actual setting.

It's how it's done natively inside LFS, that one byte is used for all possible lengths and times.

All reported laps done by a car now use a word - because that could be any number.
