Patch X

-

Concerning the /laps X
X being the number of laps you want to set the race to be.

Offline it does works fine. Not on multiplayer tho.
As it worked on Patch W:

You can set the race to be how many laps you want, on the fly, using the /laps command.
When you do it in the middle of a race if the number of laps you set is lower than the laps you've already raced (the leader) as soon as the leader completes his current lap the race is finished.

But not in patch X.
In patch X if you set a number of laps lower than the lap the leader is in...
Well, the race never ends!

It just keeps on counting the laps but the race never ends.
Probably a bug?

Cause on older version and on single player of patch X if you do something like that the race ends at the end of the current lap.

Not anymore, not on patch x multiplayer at least.

Then don't change laps mid race?

Yeah, i'm not worried about that.
But if on the last version you could do that (both on single player and multiplayer) and if on the current version you can do that on single player but not on multiplayer (and there's been no mention of a change on "this" anywhere) maybe that's not a proposital "behavior"?

That's why i'm reporting it?
this bug is still here, i just noticed it today on single player.

example:

run a 10 lap race, on lap 3 type "/laps 2", wait. they'll just keep going round and round. :auto:
