WinXP Pro
1.5g Ram
nvidia FX5900XT card (current but I assume needs to be replaced)

I'm having some SERIOUS frame rate issues when league racing (down to about 3fps with settings turned all the way down) and I cannot take it any more. On a grid of more than 6 cars I'm dropping frames like crazy.

Was looking at the PNY GeForce 7600GS 8x AGP, 512mb DDR. Its a decent price and soon (within a year) I plan to build a new PC so I will upgrade video cards at that time to PCI express.

Any other suggestions, or thoughts on this card? Reviews seem to be great and I can pick one up for about $100

If that Intel is a Pentium 4 at 2.2Ghz, I think your processor is the bottleneck. What is your budget for a new graphics card and can you upgrade your processor?

Thats mostly your CPU.
IF you have problems with full grid set up the graphic card without any AA.

I dont think a graphic card would help you to get like 25-30FPS least.No way.

Definately cpu limited, that's a pretty good card for lfs. What settings are you using, like res, aa etc?

Try overclock or replace CPU.
