The online racing simulator
Logitech Formula Force EX
Hallo !
I'm a S2 user and yesterd i bought the wheel in object.

Are there somebody that use it with LFS ?

I need to know if i have to take on the profiler software or not !

Thank you for help !
If its working properly without the profile software, you don't have to use it.
But with the Logitech Profiler comes the ability of setting makros to the wheel buttons like a F09 - F12 cycle or similar.

EDIT:
welcome to LFS, hope you enjoy it, but please post in the right subforum
for wheels for example: http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=15
I've got the Formula Force GP (pretty similar), and i never use the profiler software. The steering wheel works just how it should work.

ps. sometimes i have to restart the game because the force feedback doesn't work propperly. I don't know if this problem is normal or it is a single case.
latest drivers installed? ( http://www.wingmanteam.com/)

What means doens't work properly? No FF at all? Does shift + c work to solve the job?
Yes, I think it doesn't work sometimes (or maybe its working very weak). Downloading new drivers wouldn't be a bad idea.

ps. I never used shift+c. I even don't know the function of this command.
i had the one to now i have DFP but i drifted allot with the FF EX

I use a Formula Force GP, similar to yours and I recommend using the profiler because it can store settings for separate games if you're a multigamer. And like others said, setting a cycle from F9 to F12 for a single button is really helpful, I use it a lot!
