X-Sim motion software
Gidday all, new to the car sim world, been around flight sim for a while and have built a motion sim http://homepages.woosh.co.nz/cwarner/flightsim.htm
Am going to build a motion car sim and use x-sim software which has a lfs outsim plug in. Question, has anyone looked at the outsim data, in particular the acceleration y axis, it appears to cycle + to - causing the sim to move up and down by itself, i wonder if it is the outsim data or the x-sim plugin causing it? Cheers
so yuor using lfs to help make sim or am i not reading this right?

The schools in Texas must be really bad or something. I can't understand you.
X-sim
Yes I am using LFS with X-sim software for my car sim (not the one on the website) except there is that glitch of changing values that I mentiioned in my first post that I need to get to the bottom off, any help greatly appriciated!
#5 - Stuff
I'm pretty sure the Y velocity is from OutSim. Reason is, I used a program I made and Bob Smith tweaked, to test it and driving around it did move. By exactly how much or why, I have no idea. Maybe only Scawen or someone experienced with OutSim can say.

You can get that program, and the source, from here: http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=43173#post43173

Hope that helps!
X-Sim
Thanks, I got it all sorted today, I translated the German x-sim web site and figured out I was using the wrong outputs, x-sim seems to be a very under rated program and I would recommend anyone who wanted to make a motion sim take a look. Now this program is working and looking promising I am going to start the build process.

Hello, Calvin

I have the same problem with acceleration values shifting from x to y. How did you fix it?
