I set up my new gear, go to turn on anti aliaising in my ATI Catalyst Control Panel .. all nice ... open LFS .. sweeet . Then my mate Xfires me asking to acept a file on MSN ..... CTRLL + ESC occurs and then i maximize LFS to find its all horrible and 0 x AA ... niice !
the control panel still says 6x AA but i hav to change it to 4 then bak to 6 for it to go back ..
1st time i have noticed it 0.o

I've also noticed that task switching has effects like this. If I "alt+tab" out of LFS and back again, all mirrors but mine turn into a colorful mess. Not sure about the AA though, I have an nVidia card.

I asked about this is the past. its because youre not supposed to use Alt Tab or Ctrl Escape. but to press Shift F4 instead to minimise LFS.

Happens to me even though I only use Shift+F4, but only if I click out of LFS - meaning: as long as the LFS window stays active AA and AF stay. If the LFS window is inactive and I then go back to it, AA and AF are gone and will be back as soon as I restart LFS (got an nvidia card). It's not that much of a problem, but I sometimes want to download a setup from inferno while staying connected to a server. I can't do that because I hate playing without AA/AF.

Similar problems here, although I only lose AA at my desktop resolution, at any other it sticks. ATI card.
