Question
I'll already see somewhere in this forum that we can be more than one person on a licence.. true?

Example: My friend and me on the same licence S2

ps: i'm french, sorry for my english
Sharing your license is prohibited. I'm guessing you didn't read the 'Read this before buying' -thingie.

Good to know you're French, now I can finally get some sleep.

no, you can't, you are NOT supposed to share a license
You can use the license more than once in LAN situations only though.

French people aren't allowed to use their licence twice.

Thx for responses
Quote from Davo :French people aren't allowed to use their licence twice.

They can use their LFS licence in real world driving, however.
Just present it to the kind officer next time you get pulled over and
say 'that idiot cut me off in the last chicane' ( in french of course).

What you might be thinking of is allowing one license to be installed on two computers for LAN play.

Where two computers are in different physical locations with different internet connections, you may not unlock on both. You may not be be able to go online together but you've just copied the game by unlocking it on someone elses computer. That's a breach of the license agreement (that you read before purchasing) and we've banned users from the forum for license sharing. I'm hoping your example really is just an example.

Yeah, it was just a question, dont panic
The "unlocking on a 2nd computer for LAN" is unlocking on another one of YOUR computers. You own the LICENSE. The agreement allows you to use it on 2 of YOUR computers. For example, I have a second computer on the desk right beside my main desk. I have LFS unlocked on both computers so my daughter and I can race across the networked computers together.

Is it not common sense that you wouldn't be allowed to unlock on a friend's computer? That friend didn't purchase, so he doesn't get. How hard is it to understand? illepall
Well, as he puts it, he is French.

But neither did your daughter... His post said nothing about who owned the computer - just that he and his friend wanted to share the license. His question was not in any way deserving of such scorn.
