Is it possible to overclock my graphics card, is it advised, if so...how??

yes, its possible, i did it back when i had a 9600XT through Rivatuner and ATi Tray tools - not to good with ATi's anymore, your best bet is to ask on overclock.net

Will I reap benefits without ruining my card or anything else?

will you reap benefits - yes (although do NOT expect an exceptional one, you may get 10% performance increase)

Do i recommend it? Oh hells yeah! Mines overclocked!

Will you ruin it? Only if it gets too hot (you NEED temp monitoring when you overclock - max for the core (temp wise) is 85-90

Second question: how do I turn AA/AF on and what do you suggest is the highest.

not sure how you do it with ATi (its done in the driver) - the highest is up to you, although i RECOMMEND 16xAF and 4xAA (AF doesn't hit the frame rate that much, AA does)
