We got some questions about this last night: it is allowed to use the kerbs, but not to use the green areas. Excessive use of the green area's (especially coming off the oval) will result in a penalty.

Warnings are no penalties yet, but try to contact your driver and tell him he should not make a habit out of cutting the chicane.
