Event Specifics

1. Alerting the Administration:
Use @sc to alert administration to look at your car or the section of track you were in when you use the @sc command. The command will tell the administration what location you're at.

2. Communications:
All drivers are required to be in the NDR TeamSpeak server: teamspeak.newdimensionracing.com - Race Control messages will be broadcast to anyone in a channel in the Pit Wall in TS. If you would like a subchannel for your team or friendly drivers, please let us know and we will create one.
Make sure you have your race number and/or your LFS username as your nickname on TeamSpeak

3. Broadcast
[Broadcast info TBD]

4. Driver Naming:
Be sure to be in your proper name format: Number, [space], first initial, dot, last name [eg. 00 J.Provost].

The car number must be in red for P2, and blue for GT3. Your name should be in white or no colour.

5. Virtual Safety Car Test
Should time permit, there will be a test Virtual Safety Car deployment in the free practice session, prior to gridding. All drivers are encouraged to participate in this test.

6. Pit Entry and Pit Exit
On pit entry, all parts of the car must be to the LEFT of the white blend line.
On pit exit, all parts of the car must be to the LEFT of the white blend line.

7. Formation Lap Procedure
The grid will spawn in the pit lane. Once the LFS lights turn green, Prototype class will follow the Safety Car immediately. The GT3 class will follow it's SC, at a gap to be determined by race direction.

During gridding, each class pole sitter will be asked the side of the grid they elect to start from.

There will be ONE formation lap. Drivers are permitted to warm tyres and weave with gaps up through Turn 15. The Safety Cars will maintain a maximum speed of 130 kph / 80 mph for this part of the formation lap.

Exiting Turn 16, drivers must catch the car(s) ahead and then enable the pit lane speed limiter. Double file on the School Straight, and maintain as best as possible through the chicane.

8. Race Start Procedure:
The safety car will pull off just before the start of the pit lane wall. The leader and all other drivers should maintain a steady speed up until the green flag signal is given, at which point overtaking is permitted.

In the event of an aborted start, drivers should maintain pace until Turn 1, and then return to single-file formation for another attempt.

The FIRST green flag message(s) are for the Prototype 2 class ONLY. The SECOND green flag message(s) are for the GT3 class ONLY.

The race timing starts at the FIRST green flag call, or an ABORT start call at the conclusion of the formation lap.

9. Safety Car:
On Restarts, the Safety Car will pull away from the field after Turn 14 (where possible). It must not be overtaken before it crosses the 1st Safety Car line.

Overtaking is not permitted on SC restarts until YOU have crossed the start-finish line.

The race director has the discretion to operate a safety car wave around procedure. AT ALL TIMES: All P2 cars will be sorted ahead of the GT3 cars, without exception. All GT3 cars between the P2 leader and the GT3 leader should be waved around the SC to keep them on their respective lap.

The optional procedure is to wave around ALL cars a lap or more down to their respective class leader, after the required GT3 wave-around. Any car a lap or more down to their class leader, and trapped between that class leader and the last class car on the lead lap, can be waved around the queue and SC to gain back a lap, but must start at the back of their class.

The order of wave-arounds should be this:

1) REQUIRED: GT3s between P2 leader and GT3 leader (class tail end of lap).
2) OPTIONAL: P2s and GT3s between their class leader and last car on the class leader lap, who are a lap or more behind, should be waved around.
3) REQUIRED: All P2 cars filter to the front of the queue. GT3s should drop to a side of the course at the race director's discretion and all P2s should overtake any GT3s ahead of them - with all due care.

AT ALL TIMES: No positions should change as a result of the wave around, expect for cars spinning, pitting, or otherwise losing pace.

10. End of Race
After finishing the race, please slow WELL BELOW racing speeds after Turn 1 and proceed back to the pit lane. The top 3 shall report to the start/finish line.

Top three and anyone else wishing to be interviewed on the broadcast should join the Commentary Box Waiting Room, and one of the commentators will move you to the Commentary Box.

11. Miscellany:

THE 80 KPH PIT SPEED BOARDS MARK THE START AND END OF SPEED LIMIT ZONES ONLY - THE SPEED LIMIT IS 65 KPH AT ALL TIMES IN PIT LANE

Do NOT under any circumstances Shift+P or Shift+S from on course during the race without authorization from Race Control.

You do NOT need permission to retire once you are in the pit lane.

If you suffer a lost connection or timeout from the server, you are permitted to rejoin the race, and we will add your completed laps to your car once you've rejoined.
Stop & Go penalties may ONLY be taken from the penalty box located at the location noted above.

Please post any procedural questions in this thread.

Good luck!
IF YOU WISH TO SPLIT YOUR ENTRIES TO HAVE MULTIPLE CARS RUNNING IN THE RACE

Please post here with which driver will use which car number. Both drivers should use the team's name, cars, and colours, with only a separate number board and number in the name.

The team will score points based on the highest finishing car. The driver will score points where he finishes.
Team "GUM Garage #3", entry number 176, will split into 2 cars:
#176 JohnT2005 - John Madigan
#175 Justas7771 - Donald Fenner
Honestly, this Rockingham layout is more ISSC Extended.

Of course it's not difficult to learn it as every other, but calling it "International" is very confusing.
