105th RTFR XL

NOTE ABOUT RACE DISTANCE:

Due lack of activity in laptime testing in past for the custom combos,it has been decided to give an estimated lapcount in information. The actual lapcount will be announced after qualifying as it will be calculated using fastest laptime in qualifying (same rule as always - minumum lapcount to exceed 75 minutes).

Server will be password protected 1 hour before qualifying start to keep not knowing crowded server jumpers out of way, pass will be always the same: green

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Race statistics / RTFR XL .mpr folder / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated during the week)

The latest RTFR XL featured the 2nd race with Prototype 2,which is now the 2nd mod car that has been selected for 2nd time in this event series. And this race set a new record in RTFR XL - the track was the longest ever in this event, previous longest was just over 100 meters shorter custom track in Blackwood. The fast car created chaotic first few laps, resulting in more car rolls than several UFR races together, but despite some complaints, noone actually bothered to report anything,so we can assume everyone settled for incidents being racing accidents. With 29 qualifyers this was the most attended round since the anniversary race almost 5 months ago, however the high attrition race resulted in 18 classified finishers, which is repeated highest since 100th RTFR XL.

Suforr set himself as main favourite for this race by setting the fastest lap in pre-race practice, also in qualifying he was the only one to beat 2 minutes 57 mark, scoring his 2nd pole position in 8 qualifying sessions. To the 10 lead laps he had from previous pole position start the spaniard added another 15 from this weeks race, however that's all of notable additions to his achievements as after mistake he did not made any effort to return to racing and retired. The road to victory lane was taken over by the only other driver who led any laps in this race - Gábor once again put himself on top of race results, scoring his 18th RTFR XL race win, adding also 18th fastest lap of the race and 29th top5 finish to his stats. The 2nd most successful racer in event's history put himself into 2nd positions also in race results - starting in low 13th position,R.Kardol raced himself up to score already 56th top5 finish, extending the all time leading count. Using his experience with the car,Jsk scored his best ever RTFR XL result this week - 3rd position is a position better than his previous best achieved twice and also his 4th top5 finish and 10th for Slovakia. The best with 2 pitstop strategy was Trespasser in 4th place, scoring his 5th top5 finish. For 3rd race in row top5 was closed by Thehemuli, who rounded his top5 count to 10.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
All time average speed of all RTFR XL races is 158km/h,however from the latest 8 races half had average speed over 200km/h with the anniversary 100th race being just below 200 - kinda shows tendency latelly having faster races (also next one is expected to exceed 200).

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
With car being able to go couple laps past half distance it was clear that everyone needed some sort of pitwork - shortest pitstops chart is led by 5 drivers who refuelled the car only, best of them was J.A.Katila with 10.97 seconds pitstop, beating organized by just 1/100 of a second.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Starting the race from the low 25th position,Kid progressed through the race 15 positions, ending up on bottom end of top10 - 3 positions better than 2nd best positions gainer in a race with 5 drivers progressing 10 or more positions.

VOD at Youtube:

Gábor unsurprisingly used his last selection of the year to pick in community well known favourite car of him - next race will feature the fastest aids free LFS standard car Formula V8,which will be raced in Aston's high speed configuration National, the race will have 49 laps. Next week normal RTFR will return with much slower street legal car, which in it's history actually never made into production - expect to see more cars than ever were made in real world. Also in 2 weeks there will be a race in Aston - RandomCar 2025 series is closing to it's end, make sure to put your name higher in standings!
