Hello, I noticed since some days the "live alert" on LFSW doesnt really update like it used to.

People are shown on a server still, even when for a while on another server or even not in LFS anymore.

I know its nothing urgent but want to let you know about it, I use it a lot to see my friends

that are online. Could it be connected or related to the friends list not showing up at

"online racer stats" somehow ? Greetings P V L.

If I had to guess, yes, it should be related to the recently disappeared friends lists (discussed at https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/112248).

I'm aware it is not the same thing as the Live Alert on LFSW, but in the meantime, if you have an Android phone, using the following app can send you notifications about friends coming online in-game: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/94301. It might be a bit buggy, but the main functions still work as far as I know.

I've fixed a bug about friends lists in another window but don't think this would be related, as it was just a bug in that window.

I've just tested this now and it seemed to be working. I was looking at the live alert window and my friend appeared and disappeared as expected in the live alert window (I have a 1-minute polling interval in my LFSW settings).

Please can you tell me if it seems to be working now, or there is a different way to see the bug?

It seems to be fine now, thanks. Friends list at online race stats works again as well, nice.

Sorry to tell you but its kind of frozen again, showing people when they are gone since a while.

Restarting live alert works correct then, just seems to not refresh as it did and should.

I wonder if there may be a way to reproduce the issue, maybe some pattern to it?

As we know, it seems to work at first, checking every minute, then apparently it can go wrong at some point.

If I understand the pattern it might help direct me how to figure it out (remembering this is all Victor's code and it's better if I don't bother him unless it's an important issue).

I'm busy on other things but maybe if you detect a pattern, let me know and it might me some time when I do look into it.
