We start our second half of the 2025 season with three races in Westhill. First up is XFG at National reversed for 15 laps, which should yield around 30 minutes of old fashioned door to door GTI racing. The race will be will be livestreamed by Sim Broadcasts on their Twitch and Youtube channels.

For the start of the second half of the season we moved to Westhill and had a GTI class race on tarmac - the first of its kind in ARC history. We had 20 drivers set a laptime during qualifying and 18 drivers who started the race with one late joiner and a few dropouts.

tBug set the fastest time and claimed his first ARC pole position. He was accompanied on the first row by SennaBR, a newcomer to our series. Second row was occupied by Zafiralis drivers with Motimoukari leading Thehemuli. Fifth and also last driver to go under 2.04 was Maciek.

At the start there were already position changes inside the top 5 even before the first corner. Both Zafiralis drivers suffered massively in the acceleration from their relatively long gearing and were left in the dust by others. This promoted jj lehto and MadJester into top 5 after the first split. There was some good racing going on in the top 5 for the first few laps with jj lehto making it into the lead by the end of lap 3, while Naluyluka and samet were closing in on tBug for P3. Naluyluka managed to get into P2 and tried to challenge for the lead, but he made a mistake on lap 8 and called it a day. This promoted SennaBR back to P2 but only a few laps later he faced some IRL distractions and had to retire. After losing two drivers in succession from second place, it fell into the hands of tBug who was followed closely by samet, Maciek and Thehemuli. For the last few laps this quartet would change positions multiple times between eachother before Maciek made a mistake on lap 13 and fell from the pack. The remaining trio provided good racing right up until the finish line with tBug taking second, samet third and Thehemuli fourth. Motimoukari found a way past Maciek and claimed fifth, while jj lehto was untouchable after claiming the lead on lap 3, securing his second win of the season and a fourth one overall.

Next time in just over a week it is time for another rallycross event. As Westhill does not feature a rallycross layout as standard, we have prepared one for you. Full event info will be posted on Monday.
