Modded my bike
Now normally I am not into modding things, but I just wanted to do a bit to my bike to personalize it a bit.

So I fitted a rear hugger (mudguard), and smooth tail tray tidy thing with LED tail lights, both in Carbon, some little rim stickers, a Power Commander (chip) and a Carbon Micron exhaust.

I think it sets it apart from all the other's, and the Exhaust and chip make it fly like it never did, plus it sounds pretty awesome too .

I am not doing anymore too it, because I am saving up for my new Hayabusa which I am getting in May

Yeah, forgot to add them when I posted, D'oh, they are there now.

Dan,
Didnt you just get your bike license a few months ago? and your already going for a hayabusa? talk about suicide...
Mod? ... Nah, you mean "Riced". Good luck with that, do you drift too?

*snicker*
@sil3ntwar, yep, only passed my license in June, but have been riding bikes since I was 18, a bike is only as fast as you ride it.

@Becky, up yours luv LMAO

Dan,

My dad drives a Honda Shadow 600ccm (43.5hp) and my mom a Yamaha MaximX 700 (100hp+)

Dan,

Yeah, I noticed that on the pic after I put out the post, so I went back in and removed it....
The teacher I had when I took the drivers license for car drove a CBR, I think, and managed to do a wheelie so far back that the taillight touched the ground... Now thats pretty far... hehe..

your older than i thought so i guess your not an idiot

I still gotta get around to saving for a bike and getting my license.

That turbine bike isnt that much faster than a hayabusa in terms of top speed.

I really like the look your CBR Dan

That might be true, that the Hayabusa is better, but then again, the Hayabusa is a 100% awsome race bike... But the price isnt that much..
I found some which goes for around $11,000.... But still, awsome bike...

It's not so much a race bike, but a hyper-tourer, its a very comfy bike, even has a decent pillion seat (which is important for me).

You can plod around on it two-up all day, or you can go balls out at 200+mph if you want, great bike, can't wait to get one .

Dan,

Just out of curiosity, what makes you go for a BUSA, its a bit of a lard arse compared with what you already have?
Basically because I want something a little more laid back (yes, I know the busa is mental, but its not a flighty as a 600).

Basically I want a bike that can go fast, cruise / tour two-up comfortably, my choices are CBR1100X Blackbird, Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa, or Kawasaki ZZR1200 (maybe 1400).

Out of those 3 I just love the way the Busa looks.

My 600 was never really more than a bit of fun, and to get me on top two wheels cheaply.

Dan,
If I where to get a bike, I either want a CBR, a MTT or a VMAX...
I've seen alot of the 1200 VMAXs here in Norway...
Every year on 1st of May we gather around 1,500-2,000 motorcycles
and drive 170km around just to "show off"... It's called "springrun" and we
do this just to show that the summer has come... We get police escort
and alot of people stay on the side of the road to watch us go by.
We've had 1 insident where one guy died, where he drove out of the line
and on to a sideway. He later lost controll of the bike and went straight
into a big rock... Other then that, there are always some jackarses that
has to show off theyr bikes and do wheelies on the freeways or do burnouts
or anything just to show off.. Hehehe... Mostly they go wrong and fall and
break theyr bikes but the springrun is really worth to either watch or join..
I've watched it for many years but after my parents got theyr bikes it's
been a blast to join this.. You get to see alot of cool stuff...

I accturally sent an email to MTT and told them about the springrun we have
and that it would be so cool if they bring theyr bike to the "show"...
They couldnt this year, but theres always a chance?

Dan,

AAHH I see now, I could never get on with flighty bikes, my last bike was a Kwacker ZX-7R, that was heavy but soooooo stable in the corners, especially long A road sweepers, so I can see where you're coming from!!!
(I am quietly jealous as well, wouldn't mind a quick blast/fix on a BUSA!!)
Hugger has a useful practical purpose too of stopping crap getting everywhere. Bike's looking nice mate.

A mate of mine has a Busa. People come up to him in petrol stations to tell him it's cool.

Last two days on the way to work I reckon I've passed approx 5000 cars. M25 has been one big ques both days - that is when I love biking!
u cant compare the feeling going 200mph on a bike! a friend of mine taked me on a Yamaha R1 alittle bit modifyd (pulld out the limiter and other stuff..dunno exactly) only know that it rips ur heart of! espacialy in turns at highspeed! its just....undiscibeble...although i wont buy one in the future...cuz...it scares the sh*t out of me!! :P your honda is great! Good luck with ur HayaBusa witch isinsainly quick! Take care.

Looks very sweet m8
nice cbr i'm assuming the mircon is just the slip-on, right? how does that sound? cause i have a cbr600 and i put a yoshimura slip-on on it and it's alright..but i'm looking for something a little louder.

If the yoshi is still new it's got plenty of time to get louder. I've got an IXIL that I've had for about 4 years and done 10000 miles and now it's well loud. Wasn't that noisy when new.

btw full system are great for sound and performance but a right pain in the butt at MOT time.
@Dave, it sounds nice and raspy, but not too loud, it has a removable baffle that you can take out should you want it louder.

I can record a sound clip if you like.
