i am still thinking about ordering it.. just trying to way up the pros and cons and if its worth it or not. wether i will use the features or not.

Yeah that is the only reason I won't get it. It's a bit on the 'big' side heh.

My next keyboard I actually only want the standard keys. I made the mistake of getting a keyboard with the "F" lock function keys and it is really annoying. I don't know why they make these kinds of keyboards illepall

just got mine today through the post.. i like it.. it is a little long.. it hands off the edge of my desk.. but my old one was soooo ****ed!!!

all i need to know now is how to get the app for LFS to work.. says press '3 to start insim.. and 4 to exit.. but i dont know were to press it lol

and pressing '3' doesnt do anything

ill rephrase... does anyone have a translated readme file??

Live for G15 Test Release 05. Mai 2006

Requirements:
- Live for Speed S2 Alpha 0.5T6 oder höher
- Logitech G15 Gaming Tastatur

Features:
- Spritanzeige auf 2 Nachkommastellen
- Anzeige des Verbrauchs der letzten Runde
- Berechnung der Restrunden basierend auf dem Verbrauch der letzten Runde
- Anzeige, wer vor und wer hinter einem fährt
- "live"-Anzeige des Abstandes

Anleitung:
- In beliebigen Ordner entpacken
- In der "configuration.txt" den gewünschten port eintragen und merken und den playername (der sichtbare Name inklusive Farbcodes) ändern
- LFS Starten
- T drücken und "/insim <port>" eingeben, wobei <port> der in der configuration stehende port ist
- LCD-Taste 3 auf der Tastatur drücken

Änderungen:

050506 - Zweiter Testrelease
- Race start = reset
- Start Bildschirm eingebaut
- Fehlerausgabe wenn keine insim verbindung aufgebaut werden konnte
- Live-Abstände repariert
- Andere Schriftart bei den Namen

I'm gonna be getting a G25 wheel, and this keyboard:

I will try to translate but my Enlish is not much better than ur German:

Requirements:
- Live for Speed S2 Alpha 0.5T6 or higher
- Logitech G15 Gaming Typewriter

Features:
- Fueldisplay on 2 decimal places
- fuelmileage of the last lap shown on 2 decimal places
- Calculation how many laps r possible with ur fuelmileage
- display shows who drives in front and behind u
- "live"-display of distance in Sec shown on 2 decimal places

Install:
- extract in any folder
- change the port u wanna use in "configuration.txt" and remember it. Fill in ur InGameName in "configuration.txt" (incluted colourcodes)-u will find it in the LFS-Config-file
- start LFS
- press T and type "/insim <port>", <port> u changed in "configuration.txt"
- press the LCD-key 3 (3rd small black key under the LCD) on the typewriter


Changes:

050506 - Secound Release
- Race start = reset
- Start-Screen
- Error message if conection failed
- Live-distance repairt
- another font for Namen



But i have to say, that this project is a little buggy! Once i drove an OWRL-Championship and was the leader on AS-GP in lap1. During brakin for the last Chicane a window opened "Error in Live for G15". As i came back from windows to LFS i realised i was parkin on the idealline and most drivers are crashing in me!

If someone of u r experienced in programming- PLZ fix cause Kamel dont give any support!

- Unzip in any folder
- Put in the desired port in the "configuration.txt" (and remember it) and your playername (including color codes)
- Start LFS
- press T and type "/insim <port>"
- press LCD Key 3 on the keyboard

U have not the latest version! LFG15-200506 is the final! But only there is the bug i descibed. I will post it here and for the programmers i added a programm-code .

not to mention that wheel must be awesome.. 6 gear shifter clutch pedal.. good made materials.. i have the logitech momo force feedback.. now i see this ive should have waited for the g25 lol
