That. It's been a while since I really had a ping problem. (Back in the Halo: CE days ) I get about 160-200 no matter what I close. Any ideas?

Move closer to server. I mean by 1000 miles or so,could help.

At the moment I have an ISP which offers a 50% higher ping then the one the neighbors have so switching ISP can help but since you are in the US and I guess not near the NY main hub to Europe, there is not much you can do to achieve a lower ping on servers based in Europe.

Simply because, Eclipsed already said... The distance is too long.

ISP indeed can help. I went from 40-45ms to 5-10ms in most games.

But like dave said, you will most likely have trouble with servers based in the EU. Have you already tried servers that are located in 'murica? Perhaps a pingtest.net can check if it's you or the server.

I guess it's just the server. pingtest gave me 80. Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway.
