The more I think about it, the more I feel like we need Vettel to have a mechanical failure or accident if Alonso is going to win the title.

well it was only the first practice, pretty sure lap times will change a lot from that

Yeah, there was a lot of sliding.

Sliding can be expected on harder tires and new pavement. . I continue to be impressed by the race track's shape though
