hot mobo temps?
Hello,this is driving me crazy:

system:
asus sabertooth x58
i7 960
12 gb ram DDR3 corsair dominator 1600mhz 3X4 GB (with fan)
PSU: thermaltake toughpower gold 850W
Zotac Nvidia GTX 470
case: HAF 932 (coolermaster)

this is the problem:
I used to have 6 gb of ram (3x2gb) the same corsair dominator series, with no fan. I have this system with nothing overclocked, everything is with their stock or factory specs. I dont have aftermarket parts but I have nothing overclocked.

when my MoBo used the 6 gb of ram, it was hardly to see it over the 40Cº (celcius) under stress I could say it was difficult to see it in the 45Cº.

Now with this new set of RAM, I installed the memory fan cooler too, the system at idle is 45Cº I still coulndt test it under heavy stress but...

this temperature is normal? probably more ram = more heat??
should I worry about this?

I dont have water cooling, this is my temps right now, using everest (Idle, just using firefox):
Temps
Motherboard 46 °C (115 °F)
CPU 38 °C (100 °F)
CPU n.º 1 / core n.º 1 47 °C (117 °F)
CPU n.º 1 / core n.º 2 45 °C (113 °F)
CPU n.º 1 / core n.º 3 46 °C (115 °F)
CPU n.º 1 / core n.º 4 46 °C (115 °F)
Aux 55 °C (131 °F)
GPU 50 °C (122 °F)
GPU diode 55 °C (131 °F)
GPU memory 50 °C (122 °F)
GPU Ambient 44 °C (111 °F)
Seagate ST1000DM003-9YN162 37 °C (99 °F)
Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 38 °C (100 °F)

Coolers
CPU 1156 RPM
System 3835 RPM
Aux 675 RPM
Cases 2637 RPM
PSU 718 RPM
GPU 1355 RPM (40%)

btw, my computer is in a room with no A/C, I live in a carribbean country, where is common to get 30-35 ºC of temp everyday

what do you say?

sorry for my bad english
Motherboard temperature simply measures the temperature inside your case. Since you've installed dedicated fans for your memory, the hot air from the RAM modules might be blown right at the motheboard/chassis temperature sensor. You have nothing to worry about.
Id say thats decent for a 30c-35c ambient temp!

Here in the uk i have a very similar spec to you but i have water cooling on the cpu (h50) and everything is o/c'd and my temps are about:

Cpu - 35,38,40,41 (cores)
Gpu1 - 28
Gpu2 - 25

Ambient temp about 18-20c

These are idle temps.

I was worried about to kill the mobo, thanks guys, You are my only way to get really good feedback about computers stuff

@r3dman you have everything o/c'd lol very good temperatures overthere, I wish to have watercooling someday
