I have my LFS icon on my desktop and as per usual it normally comes up when I double click on it. Today it just goes down to the bottom row and refuses to open. I click on that same lowdown icon and another one appears beside it. Can u tell me please how to correct this glitch??

What hapens if you go to the folder where LFS is installed and open it from there? Maybe the shortcut has became corrupt somehow...

I get the same result. A double click on lfs.exe and it just arrives on the bottom row and refuses to open. I don't want to delete it and re-install because I've got it so I can race head to head on multiplayer with my brother and its taken two years to find out how to configure it to do that.
I really need help on this without deleting it and re-installing.

Try to do a fresh install in a separate directory and see if that works. Also there is a "deb.log" file in the LFS directory which contains some debugging info. It might give you a clue what's going on.
