Thinking of selling my system to fund college - UK only
Hey guys, going to college in September and thinking, not definite, but may sell my system in order to help fund with college etc...
I never use it to its full potential anyways

This system runs BF3 on its highest settings at 1080HD locked at 60fps
Will play Crysis and Crysis 2 at Ultra DX11 settings no problem.
Playing them means it will play every game you throw at it with amazing performance!!

Specs are as follows:

Case: Fractal Designs Arc Midi
Power Supply: Cooler Master GX-750watt
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 (USB 3.0, SATA 6GB/s, Quad CrossfireX Support)
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3.6GHz stable
Memory: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
Graphics: Asus GeForce 560Ti DirectCUII(twin fan design).. Runs at 1GHz easily!
HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 500GB 7200RPM
DVDRW: LiteOn iHAS124 24x

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100 Liquid Cooler... Keeps the cpu at 20*C @ 3.6GHz idle and below 50*C at 100% load which is rare, very cool during gaming.
The cooler is running push/pull config with 4 Arctic F12 120mm fans!
Exhausting out the case through the radiator..
The front fan intake with dust filter..
Side fan intake on to graphics area
and rear exhaust keeping the whole case and system at a nice cool temp

That right there is my dream rig.
Shame I'm not from the UK though.

Do you know what the ambient temperature is? I get roughly 40 degrees on idle with a similar cooler, and the ambient temperature is roughly 20-25 degrees.
very good rig, but yeah colege is better than gaming

My ambient ranges from 18-22*C and the cpu sits around 20 +/- 2*C.
Under typical gaming load, playing crysis or similar it barely goes above 35
Weekend bump?
Doesn't sell soon I'll just be keeping it.
#6 - dadge
I'd keep it bud. you'd only get a few hundred dolla. And you'll kick yourself (the cost to build is way higher than the cost to sell).
I'd keep it as well. That's a pretty decent gaming rig, and like Dadge said you'll only get a couple hundred for it. Then once you finish college and wanna build another one you'd have to spend another decent amount. Just keep it and enjoy it while you can
