Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend out and was wondering since most of what he would need would be for a website to display the results in real time (or as close to real time as possible) for hotlap qualifying for example, is it possible to do it in this way or would someone have some php script and some instructions on how could we make this happen? it would really be appreciated and credit granted to the person who help us out with this task.

We run LFS in a dedicated box and have the webservers for hosting completely separate if this helps. Thanks in advance, you can also send a PM if this can help.

reading the php documentation, seems that the commands used in your example are a bit slow.

there are other commands, such as socket_create, socket_bind, socket_listen, ecc. that are faster and also supported in php 4.x

Um okay, i'd recommend you to read the thread to find out more about php 4.x.
