Parameter 2 is invalid [server config issue]
I'm trying to set up a dedicated server and I'm getting this error message after editing the config file. What does it mean?

I've only changed the host name from the standard cfg file which functioned fine.

I don't know how LFS parses the configuration file (in terms of 'special' characters such as the forward slash). If you remove the forward slashes from the host name and it works correctly then you will know that forward slashes in the host name are not a good idea. Let us know if that solves the problem or if it persists afterwards.
Okay, thank you. That worked. Now the window starts up but it says TCP Socket: bind failed error.

That error normally happens if the port you're trying to use is already in use by another process. Do you already have another LFS server running (using the same port)? If you want to run multiple servers you can edit the config files for each to make sure they're using different ports (e.g. 63392 and 63393).
Yes I Googled it and that was the whole problem. Thank you!
Okay so now my server works, but the password does not. It is set but does not function in game. I'm also having problems timing out but my clients do not.. The server is on my LAN so why is this?
//optional: admin password
//admin=password

Did you remove the two slashes in front?
actually its one slash
