I've got an old iPhone 2g from my brother that I can use which is Jailbroken I believe. My problem now is that WhatsApp for instance doesn't show when there are new messages. I have to open WhatsApp to see new messages. The Calendar for example does show this.

I've been looking around all day now, but couldn't find it. I've been reading about Pushdoctor for Cydia (already have this) to fix it, but it seems it no longer gives out new certificates.

I never really worked with an iPhone before so I don't know a single thing about it really.
