no, not necessarily. if the lights are directional, that is, beaming towards a certain direction, no. like a flashlight.

UK Police lights arn't directional (well, the majority arn't =/)

Newer ones have lights front, back and to the sides. But the older ones were just rotating beacons.

they have started upgrading UK Cop cars now spesh in and around london, they are all going LED style just like some USA states they are really powerful look neet to :P
