Hello everyone, Ive been out of sim racing for a good 4 years or so and have decided to get back into it. Ive been looking at getting a cheap wheel just to get my feet wet and stumbled across a Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel. Its a quite old wheel from my understanding and isnt supported by Microsoft anymore. Ive read that there may be compatiablility issues between the wheel and Windows 7. My question is: Does anyone on here use this wheel without any problems? Thanks for the help!

I used to use it on XP, it's a really nice wheel for it's price.
But I don't play games anymore.

works in XP. Trusty old wheel, pedals are a bit naff. pay no more than $30 for one.
doesnt win7 have xp compat mode?

Compatibility mode can't do miracles. It works well with programs, but drivers are so much complex to "cheat". Somethings could work, though
