but as PHP developer i experienced that the all the power of my rig hunted for all over years is now useless for me, i play only LFS (sometimes RBR, rFactor, etc.) new hardcore games are not for me, all i need is PHP, Apache, MySQL, Notepad++, PhotoShop and these few games on my laptop to keep me happy I spend a lot of money to tune my old PC in years of its fame but now, to years after buy its worth 1/3 of its original price, but still catching on newest games

I've had a bit of an update from 5 years back when I posted my god awful PC spec

ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe Board
Core 2 Duo E6600 OC to 2.7Ghz
4Gb DDR2 RAM
XFX Radeon HD5770 1Gb

Monitor: LG 22" Wide (1680x1050)

Wheel(s): Logitech G25 & MS X360 Pad for when I'm too lazy to set the wheel up

Running Win7 Home Premium x64.

Fairly cheap system but plays pretty much anything I want at 1680x1050 with AA at very playable framerates.

All housed within an Antec P183

Macbook 13"
Intel Core Duo 2.4Ghz
2 Gig Ram
160GB harddrive

Vista (Bootcamp)

DualShock 3 Controller

I've only just started using DS3 but it's surprisingly easy to control throttle with the right analogue stick, might have to start using it for Gran Turismo
Might as well update with mine now I have it built

Haha thanks, Just got to overclock it now I have seen people quoting 4ghz so thats the figure I am aiming for though obvious depends how long it stays stable for. At the moment, I am now running at 3.6.ghz and just passed 6 hours of torture test so looking stable.

what kind of temps are you getting with that water cooler?
With ambient showing at 21C, depending on room temperature idle is 25 - 30C , full stress went upto 45C. Though I know when I stressed it previously on a lower overclock it went upto 40c because ambient was higher. I am looking at getting a couple of fans to make my radiator push/pull which should knock a couple more degrees off. They are good upto about 55C so enough head room but depends what temps I get under higher overclock as I like having a quiet pc.

I went with Corsair's H50 in the end but did you ever get your coolit eco?
