I think it was el pibe who took it personally, how does Hamilton look like a tool? He doesn't he might be arrogant but he does everything that he says he will do, he never looks like a tool, that's why people don't like him.

Its pretty well established that even if Hamilton saved 100 children form a burning orphanage, people will still despise him, the poor lad just can't do anything right, thats what you get for being a meteoric young upstart in an easily lead and often uneccesarily cynical society that worships losers and hates success.
