We are now recruiting for the upcoming 2010 Bi -Weekly BF1 challeng ,to be run on the "schumie " server (dates to be set ).
FORMAT
THE Bi - Weekly BF1 Challenge will be as close as possible to real F1 ,which will take in 17 races ,all consisting of approx 200 k per race.
F1 race rules will also be used and penalties for rule infringments handed out by impartial judges.
A safety car will also be at each meeting ,which will only enter the track ( as in F1 ) when there would be a danger to other racers.
Unless the track calls for a start behind the safety car ,at such tracks the cars will follow the safety car for one lap of the track ,at which point the safety car will enter the pits and the pole position driver will take over the role until the start /finish line is reached .
At no time should the other drivers pass the any other car until they have reached the start line .
All flags must be adhered to and messages from safety car carried out .

PRACTICE
Practice during 2010 will be held on the" schumie" server throughout the season ,and each practice will be for the upcoming race ,and will be on the above mentioned server for 2 weeks prior to the race event,so as to give the less quick guys a chance to familiarise themselves with each track to be used ,and to get the best set for that track .
TEAMS
Each team will consist of two drivers ( still lots of teams to choose from ) which will make up the start grid of each race in order of their qualifying postion for the start of each race meeting.
Any team ,where both drivers miss two consecutive races will be taken out of the challenge,( and in the event that their are other people wanting to join ) their grid spots will be taken by these other people and their points to date will be lost .
WHEN
The races will be held on a Saturday evening and will each last approx 1 hour 30 mins -- 1 hour 45 mins.
HOW
As these meetings will be private ,a password for each meeting will be sent via E-mail to each contestant before the actual race to ensure that no unwelcome visitors during the race,( this password will be changed on a regular basis ).
