Devon GTX
I've just seen this car for the very first time. I imagine i'm not the only
one who's never heard of this car before. Well, now it's all over the net.

Introducing, the Devon GTX from Devon Motorworks.

I find it looks like the evil child of a TVR and a Bugatti type 57.
Design-wise, i think it's a success. Ok, so it looks a bit odd at first,
but the lines are elegant, powerfull and will have a lasting impact.
You ain't gonna mistake it for another car if it drives by...

It has that american pose and presence to it while having the refined look
of a european. I love the way the horizontal panels overlap the fenders
(probably darker to display the carbon fiber). I don't think the 2-tone
is the best choice, but i guess they took that from a more recent Bugatti,
the Veyron. It does give it that 'i'm so hot i can afford to dress like this
and get away with it' look. The less contrasting shades are nicer imo. I think
it looks better in a single shade showing off it's sexy curves.

As for specs, it has 650 hp from a NA engine, i'd guess a V8 (it's american
after all) but i'm not sure. They say it beats the new GTR around Laguna Seca.
It sounds pretty good doing it too. Oh, it costs around 500 000$US.
I imagine it's going head to head with the F430 replacement which i would
probably get instead for that kind of money, but still, it's a valid attempt
from the americans to actually make a car that looks high class.

I give them a thumbs up for the guts !

OOooh, its purdy

Its a bit of a shame that over half of the "performance" video is the car effectively static though - makes you wonder how confident they were about showcasing it...
I like it. Definitely heavily influenced by the good old TVR.

Not sure about the two-tone along the sides though. I'm assuming it's carbon, but it does look a little too much like patchwork for my taste. Colour code it and I'd have one
I'm still on the fence about its aesthetics, but kinetically it is impressive.

BTW, the engine is from a Viper.
It's nice
